Important information for using VukaHustle.

VukaHustle Sub-processors and Service Providers

1. About this list

UlulaLabs (Pty) Ltd, trading as VukaHustle ("VukaHustle", "we", "us" or "our"), uses a small number of third-party service providers to run the VukaHustle platform. This page lists them, explains what each one does and where it processes information, as promised in section 6.3 of our Data Processing Agreement.

The providers are listed in three groups, because each group has a different relationship with the information:

Sub-processors: providers that process merchants' customer information (Store Personal Information) on our behalf, when we act as a merchant's operator under our Data Processing Agreement;
Service providers for our own processing: providers we use for information we are responsible for ourselves, such as merchant accounts, billing and our own website, as described in our Privacy Policy; and
Merchant-connected providers: payment and courier providers that a merchant chooses to connect to its own store, under the merchant's own account and agreement. These are not our sub-processors.

2. Sub-processors

These providers process Store Personal Information on our behalf. Each is bound by written terms requiring it to keep the information confidential and secure, as required by section 21 of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

3. Service providers for our own processing

These providers process personal information for which VukaHustle is the responsible party. xneelo (section 2) also hosts this information and our email in South Africa.

Analytics and advertising. Essential cookies are always on, because vukahustle.com cannot work without them. Optional measurement is off until you choose, wherever you are. We ask for your consent in two separate categories: Analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) and Advertising (Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API). Each service runs only if you accept its category, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time on our Analytics Consent page. Merchants who are signed in can also opt their account out of optional measurement in Account > Privacy Preferences; a browser choice does not override that account opt-out. Hashed contact details are converted by a one-way process into a code before they are sent, so the original details cannot be read from the code; hashing is not encryption. These analytics and advertising services are used only on vukahustle.com and not in merchants' stores.

4. Merchant-connected providers

A merchant may connect these supported providers to its store using its own account; each one is available in a store only after the merchant has completed its setup. The merchant chooses them and has its own agreement with them, and the Platform passes them information only on the merchant's instructions. They are not VukaHustle's sub-processors.

Questions about how these providers handle information should be directed to the merchant or to the provider.

5. Changes to this list

We will update this page and notify merchants by email or through their account before we add or replace a sub-processor in section 2. Under section 6.3 of the Data Processing Agreement, a merchant with a reasonable data-protection objection may tell us within 14 days of the notice.
